Edun Men's Fashion Week Event

Last Tuesday I attended a men's fashion week event hosted by Edun and Dazed & Confused Magazine here in Milan. The venue was amazing: an alternative industrial space with video installation projections, models looking casually sharp and an open bar with delicious aperitif. The nonchalant vibe reflected the concept of the collection, with denim serving as a dominant fabric along with velvety blazers and checked prints. Thanks to the lovely Kara, Edun's Director of Sales, I had the opportunity to meet the brand's founder Ali Hewson, who was both beautiful and down to earth. Lastly, the talented British band "The Heartbreaks" performed the perfect music to accompany the overall theme of the night.

Ancora a Milano

Hello!

I'm back in Milano after a trip home to New York for the holidays. Despite the horrendous blizzards and tremendous amounts of snow, it was a lovely visit! I spent my time with family, reconnecting with old friends, and of course strolling down Fifth Avenue and my favorite streets in SoHo.

The trip back was fine, though I was a bit nervous as I had a very tight connection in Zurich, but I made it safely, with the pleasure of having incredible views of the Alps between Switzerland and Milan.

The weather isn't much better here in Milan (seeing the sun shine is a rare occasion these days), but it didn't stop me from making visits to a few my favorite cafés around the city, which I'll recommend to you:

- Caffè Cucchi (traditional Italian pasticceria with amazing dolci) : Corso Genova, 1 20123

- That's Bakery (American style bakery and café with an Italian twist) : Via Vigevano, 41 20144

- Cioccolati Italiani (creative Italian desserts and coffee customized for the chocolate lover) : Via Edmondo De Amicis, 25 20123

- Pasticceria Sissi (a Sunday morning favorite with exquisite pastries and a relaxed atmosphere) : Piazza Risorgimento, 6 20129

- Princi (a popular panetteria with incredible baked breads and focaccia) : Piazza 25 Aprile, 5 20154 (Garibaldi); Largo La Foppa, 2 20121 (Moscova); Via Speronari, 6 20123 (Duomo)

Hope you'll enjoy!
